Abstract: The Book of Joshua provides a significant perspective on leadership and military strategy during the conquest of Canaan by ancient Israel, offering insights that remain relevant for contemporary studies of management and leadership. This research aims to examine Joshua’s leadership principles and military strategies by integrating historical-cultural analysis with modern leadership theories, highlighting how his decisions reflect both religious values and strategic intelligence. Employing a hermeneutical approach combined with literature review, this study interprets the biblical text within its historical context and explores its applicability to modern leadership and strategic practices. The findings conclude that Joshua exemplifies transformational leadership that combines vision, spirituality, and innovation in warfare, emphasizing the role of faith alongside tactical planning. The novelty of this study lies in its interdisciplinary approach, which bridges biblical exegesis, historical analysis, and modern leadership theory to generate new insights into the enduring relevance of Joshua’s leadership model.

Abstrak: Kitab Yosua memberikan perspektif penting mengenai kepemimpinan dan strategi militer dalam penaklukan Kanaan oleh Israel kuno, sekaligus menawarkan wawasan yang tetap relevan dalam kajian kepemimpinan dan manajemen modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji prinsip kepemimpinan dan strategi militer Yosua dengan mengintegrasikan analisis historis-kultural serta teori kepemimpinan kontemporer, guna menyoroti bagaimana keputusan Yosua mencerminkan nilai religius sekaligus kecerdasan strategis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan hermeneutik yang dipadukan dengan tinjauan literatur untuk menafsirkan teks biblis sesuai konteks sejarahnya dan mengaitkannya dengan praktik kepemimpinan modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Yosua menampilkan kepemimpinan transformasional yang memadukan visi, spiritualitas, serta inovasi dalam peperangan, dengan penekanan pada peran iman yang berjalan selaras dengan perencanaan taktis. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatan interdisipliner yang menjembatani eksegesis biblis, analisis sejarah, dan teori kepemimpinan modern, sehingga menghasilkan wawasan baru tentang relevansi abadi model kepemimpinan Yosua.

PENGARUH TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL TERHADAP KESEHATAN MENTAL GENERASI Z DI SEKOLAH TINGGI TEOLOGI KANAAN NUSANTARA UNGARAN

Abstract : The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced various aspects of human life, including mental health. Generation Z, who were born and raised in the digital era, are highly dependent on technology in daily routines. This study aims to determine the extent to which digital technology affects the mental health of Generation Z students at Kanaan Nusantara Theological College, Ungaran. This research employed a quantitative approach using a questionnaire distributed in the form of an online survey to 30 respondents, namely Generation Z students born between 1997 and 2012 who reside in the dormitory. The data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, linearity, correlation, regression, and coefficient of determination tests with assistance of the SPSS program The findings indicate a positive but weak relationship between digital technology use and mental health. The regression equation obtained is Y = 34.266 + 0.260X, where Y represents mental health and X represents digital technology. The regression coefficient of 0.260 suggests that the influence of digital technology use accounts for 26%. The correlation coefficient (r) of 0.252 reflects a positive relationship with a low level of influence. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.064 shows that only 6.4% of the variation in mental health is explained by digital technology use, while the remaining 93.6% is affected by other factors. Therefore, the influence of digital technology on the mental health of students at Kanaan Nusantara Theological College, Ungaran is categorized as low and not statistically significant.

Abstrak : Kemajuan teknologi digital yang semakin pesat telah membawa pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk kesehatan mental. Generasi Z, yang muncul dan tumbuh di era digital, sangat bergantung pada teknologi dalam rutinitas kesehariannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar teknologi digital mempengaruhi kesehatan mental mahasiswa Generasi Z di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Kanaan Nusantara Ungaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui kuesiner dalam bentuk form yang disebarkan kepada 30 responden, yakni mahasiswa generasi z (kelahiran 1997-2012) yang tinggal di asrama. Data analisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, linieritas, korelasi, regresi dan analisis determinasi dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif namun rendah antara teknologi digital dan kesehatan mental. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Y = 34,266 + 0,260X, dimana Y mewakili kesehatan mental dan X adalah teknologi digital. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,260 menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh dari penggunaan teknologi digital adalah 26%. Koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,252 mengindikasikan hubungan yang positif dengan Tingkat pengaruh yang rendah. Sementara itu koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,064 menunjukkan bahwa hanya 06,4% pengaruh kesehatan mental karena penggunaan teknologi digital, sedangkan 93,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan demikian, pengaruh teknologi digital terhadap Kesehatan mental mahasiswa di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Kanaan Nusantara Ungaran berada pada kategori rendah dan tidak signifikan secara statistik.

PELAYANAN PASTORAL SEBAGAI PERAN GEREJA DALAM MENDAMPINGI PENDERITA STROKE

Abstract: This study examines the role of the church in accompanying stroke survivors through a healing pastoral approach. Stroke is understood not merely as a medical condition, but as an experience of suffering that affects the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of human life. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method based on a literature study, analyzing pastoral theology books, practical theology journal articles, and relevant previous studies. Data analysis is conducted thematically and reflectively-theologically to explore the meaning of suffering among stroke survivors and the forms of pastoral accompaniment provided by the church. The findings indicate that healing pastoral ministry plays a significant role in restoring meaning in life, faith, and the dignity of stroke survivors through empathic presence, prayer, pastoral conversation, and the support of the church community. The church is called to offer holistic and sustainable accompaniment, not focusing solely on physical recovery, but on the strengthening of faith and hope. The novelty of this article lies in the development of a contextual pastoral theology perspective that specifically places stroke survivors as whole subjects of pastoral care within the life of the church.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas peran gereja dalam mendampingi penderita stroke melalui pendekatan pastoral yang menyembuhkan. Stroke dipahami bukan hanya sebagai persoalan medis, tetapi sebagai pengalaman penderitaan yang menyentuh dimensi fisik, psikologis, sosial, dan spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis berbasis studi kepustakaan, dengan menganalisis buku-buku teologi pastoral, artikel jurnal teologi praktis, serta penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik dan reflektif-teologis untuk mengkaji makna penderitaan penderita stroke serta bentuk pendampingan pastoral gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan pastoral yang menyembuhkan berperan penting dalam memulihkan makna hidup, iman, dan martabat penderita stroke melalui kehadiran empatik, doa, percakapan pastoral, serta dukungan komunitas gereja. Gereja dipanggil untuk menghadirkan pendampingan yang holistik dan berkelanjutan, tidak berfokus pada kesembuhan fisik semata, tetapi pada penguatan iman dan pengharapan. Kebaruan artikel ini terletak pada pengembangan perspektif teologi pastoral kontekstual yang secara khusus menempatkan penderita stroke sebagai subjek pendampingan pastoral yang utuh dalam kehidupan bergereja.

ETIKA KRISTEN SEBAGAI RESPONS TEOLOGIS TERHADAP KERUSAKAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP

Abstract: Environmental degradation has become a global crisis that affects not only ecological and social dimensions but also raises profound moral and theological concerns. This crisis reflects a disrupted relationship between humanity and creation, largely driven by exploitative human attitudes and practices. This article aims to analyze Christian ethics as a theological response to environmental degradation. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, this study examines biblical texts, Christian theological literature, and relevant previous studies. The findings indicate that Christian ethics is grounded in the doctrine of creation, the concept of imago Dei, the cultural mandate, and the principle of stewardship, all of which affirm humanity’s moral responsibility to care for God’s creation. Key ethical principles such as stewardship, love, ecological justice, moral responsibility, and ecological repentance form a comprehensive framework of applied Christian ethics in responding to the ecological crisis. Furthermore, Christians and the church play a strategic role in implementing environmental ethics through lifestyle transformation, faith-based education, social engagement, and a prophetic voice against structures that contribute to environmental destruction. This article argues that Christian ethics offers both theological relevance and practical contributions in addressing environmental degradation and enriching contemporary discourse on environmental theology and ethics.

Abstrak: Kerusakan lingkungan hidup merupakan krisis global yang tidak hanya berdampak pada aspek ekologis dan sosial, tetapi juga mengandung dimensi moral dan teologis yang mendalam. Krisis ini menunjukkan adanya relasi yang tidak harmonis antara manusia dan ciptaan, yang sebagian besar dipicu oleh pola pikir dan perilaku manusia yang eksploitatif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis etika Kristen sebagai respons teologis terhadap kerusakan lingkungan hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka melalui analisis teks Alkitab, literatur teologi Kristen, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa etika Kristen berakar pada doktrin penciptaan, konsep imago Dei, mandat budaya, dan prinsip penatalayanan yang menegaskan tanggung jawab moral manusia dalam memelihara ciptaan Allah. Prinsip-prinsip etika Kristen seperti penatalayanan, kasih, keadilan ekologis, tanggung jawab moral, dan pertobatan ekologis membentuk kerangka etika terapan yang komprehensif dalam merespons krisis ekologis. Selain itu, orang Kristen dan gereja memiliki peran strategis dalam mengimplementasikan etika lingkungan melalui perubahan gaya hidup, pendidikan iman, keterlibatan sosial, dan suara profetis terhadap struktur yang merusak lingkungan. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa etika Kristen memiliki relevansi teologis dan praktis dalam menjawab tantangan kerusakan lingkungan hidup serta memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan diskursus etika dan teologi lingkungan dalam konteks kontemporer.

PEMBINAAN JEMAAT MELALUI PELAYANAN HOLISTIK DI GEREJA BETHEL TABERNAKEL KRISTUS ALFA OMEGA BOJA

Abstract : Considering that every church shares the same overarching vision, namely the fulfillment of the Great Commission, a collective movement is necessary in order to achieve this vision effectively. The Bachelor’s Program in Theology at Kristus Alfa Omega Theological Seminary has a research and Community Service (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PkM) roadmap that focuses on church planting. This focus aligns with the needs of Gereja Bethel Tabernakel (GBT) Kristus Alfa Omega Boja. Therefore, based on this contextual background and shared needs, the implemented PkM program was designed to address these needs in a relevant and sustainable manner. The planning and implementation of the PkM program at GBT Kristus Alfa Omega Boja were carried out from September 2023 to March 2024. The program was implemented through capacity-building activities for the congregation in the form of seminars conducted by theology lecturers. To ensure a holistic approach, a learning house (rumah belajar) was also established and facilitated by undergraduate theology students who served as the PkM team. The congregation demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm in participating in the seminars, as reflected in consistent attendance. The outcomes of this PkM program indicate that the congregation has begun to understand and actively engage in evangelism, as well as showing increased motivation and commitment in witnessing.

Abstrak : Melihat setiap Gereja memiliki visi besar yang sama yaitu Amanat Agung, tentunya diperlukan suatu Gerakan yang dilakukan Bersama-sama agar dapat mencapai visi tersebut. STT Kristus Alfa Omega prodi S1 Teologi memiliki road map dalam penelitian dan PkM adalah perintisan gereja dan hal ini sama dengan yang dibutuhkan oleh GBT KAO Boja. Sehingga melihat latar belakang kebutuhan inilah PkM yang diberikan nantinya menjawab dari kebutuhan tersebut. Pelaksanaan PkM di GBT Kristus Alfa Omega Boja dalam perencanaannya sampai dengan pelaksanaanya dilakukan dari September 2023 sampai dengan Maret 2024. Pelaksanaan PkM dilakukan dengan pembekalan kepada jemaat melalui seminar-seminar yang dilakukan oleh dosen-dosen teologi kemudian untuk holistiknya dibentuk rumah belajar yang diajar oleh mahasiswa yang menjadi tim PkM prodi S1 Teologi. Jemaat sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan seminar yang diadakan hal ini terlihat dari kehadiran jemaat. Hasil dari PkM ini adalah jemaat mulai memahami dan melakukan PI serta lebih semangat dalam bersaksi.

IDENTITAS DIRI DAN PERGAULAN SEHAT BERDASARKAN IMAN KRISTEN

Abstract : The rapid advancement of digital technology and the widespread use of social media have significantly influenced the process of adolescent identity formation. Amid the fast flow of information and the dominance of popular culture, many adolescents experience confusion in understanding their self-identity, life values, and boundaries in social relationships. This condition is reflected in unhealthy peer interactions, weak self-control, and an increased risk of deviant behavior. Therefore, contextual and faith-based educational interventions are needed to strengthen personal identity while guiding adolescents toward healthy social relationships. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to help adolescents understand their identity from a Christian faith perspective and internalize principles of healthy relationships grounded in biblical values. The program employed a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the theological meaning of self-identity and social relationships within a Christian framework. The materials were delivered interactively through seminars, contextual case studies, Bible study sessions, and faith reflection activities. The results indicate qualitative changes in participants’ understanding. They demonstrated greater awareness of their worth as individuals loved by God, an improved ability to reflect on relational boundaries, and a stronger commitment to being selective in peer associations and digital media use. Discussion and faith reflection proved effective in integrating spiritual values with daily social experiences. The program recommends ongoing character formation through collaboration among church, family, and school.

Abstrak : Perkembangan teknologi digital dan masifnya penggunaan media sosial telah memengaruhi proses pembentukan identitas remaja. Di tengah arus informasi yang cepat dan dominasi budaya populer, banyak remaja mengalami kebingungan dalam memahami jati diri, nilai hidup, dan batasan relasi sosial. Dampaknya terlihat dalam pola pergaulan yang kurang sehat, lemahnya kontrol diri, dan meningkatnya risiko perilaku menyimpang. Kondisi ini menuntut intervensi edukatif yang kontekstual dan berbasis iman untuk memperkuat identitas diri sekaligus membimbing remaja membangun relasi yang sehat. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan membantu remaja memahami identitas diri berdasarkan iman Kristen dan menginternalisasi prinsip pergaulan sehat sesuai nilai Alkitab. Program dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggali makna teologis identitas diri dan relasi sosial dalam perspektif Kristen. Materi disampaikan secara interaktif melalui penyuluhan, studi kasus kontekstual, pendalaman Alkitab, dan refleksi iman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan perubahan pemahaman secara kualitatif. Peserta semakin menyadari nilai diri sebagai pribadi yang dikasihi Allah, mampu merefleksikan batasan relasi sosial, dan berkomitmen lebih selektif dalam pergaulan serta penggunaan media digital. Diskusi dan refleksi iman terbukti efektif mengintegrasikan nilai spiritual dengan pengalaman sosial sehari-hari. Program ini merekomendasikan pembinaan berkelanjutan melalui kolaborasi gereja, keluarga, dan sekolah.
